TULLAHOMA — The Becky Buller Band will perform at the South Jackson Civic Center on March 7.

Buller, a two-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Fiddle Player of the Year, will perform bluegrass with her band, which consists of banjo player Ned Luberecki, guitarist Dan Boner, mandolin player Nate Lee, and bassist Daniel Hardin, of Lynchburg. Hardin also sings tenor on several songs.

She’s also an eight time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award winner who made bluegrass music history in 2016 by becoming the first artist ever to win in both instrumental and vocal categories, as well as the first female to win Fiddle Player Of The Year.

According to her website, her songs, recorded by some of the industry’s best, preceded the fiery-haired fiddler’s own prominence as an artist in the acoustic music world. Becky co-wrote “Freedom”, the lead-off track of The Infamous Stringduster’s 2018 Grammy award-winning album, Laws Of Gravity, as well as “The Shaker”, featured on The Travelin’ McCoury’s self-titled release that just brought home the 2019 Best Bluegrass Album Grammy.

Tickets to the March 7 show at $20 in advance and $22 at the door the day of the event. The SJCC is located at 404 South Jackson Street in Tullahoma. You can purchase advanced tickets by calling their box office at 931-455-5321.

The Becky Buller Band will also be performing at Bonnaroo this year. Look for them on June 14 at 10 a.m. at the Jesus Tent @ Bonnaroo. It’s located just off of New Bushy Branch Road. •
