Attention Moore County non-profits: United Way applications now open

NON-PROFIT NEWS — Partners for Healing medical clinic for the working uninsured, Haven of Hope domestic violence shelter, Shepherd’s House homeless shelter … each of these area non-profits offers service to folks in Moore County and United Way of Highway 55 supports them all.

United Way of Highway 55 operates by bringing local donors together to support the common cause of helping those who in live in Moore, Coffee, and Warren counties to live their best possible life and build a strong community.

Now through Monday, May 3, Moore County non-profit organizations can apply for funding from United Way of Highway 55 during their upcoming allocation cycle.

“We distribute funds strategically to our partner local nonprofits,” United Way of Highway 55 Director Ashley Abraham stated. “Nonprofits submit applications, which our allocation committee reviews every year. The committee members are a diverse group consisted of our Board members, community leaders, and gold donors. Through this process, we identify how organizations in our community can work together to provide the most effective and efficient services.”

Applicants can email completed application back to Abraham or mail them to 101 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
