Motlow Dual Enrollment Grant deadline is Wednesday

LOCAL EDUCATION NEWS —Interested in earning your Associates Degree while you complete high school? Motlow State’s Dual Enrollment offers high school juniors and seniors a unique opportunity to do both. The Moore County community college boasts more high school Dual Enrollment students than any college in Tennessee.

They specialize in making sure local students get a great early college experience. Take classes at Moore County High School or at any Motlow campus – and best of all it is free if you qualify for a Dual Enrollment grant. If you are currently enrolled in dual enrollment courses at Motlow, the deadline to apply for the grant is this Wednesday, September 15.

Most students qualify for four free classes. Some high school agreements offer fewer free classes, but more low-cost classes.

The Dual Enrollment Grant program is funded by the Tennessee Lottery and administered by the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation. This program provides opportunities for students to begin working toward a college degree, while still pursuing a high school diploma.
