TULLAHOMA — It’s been an annual event in historic, downtown Tullhoma for over 10 years but the 41A Music Festival will be making some big changes this fall. According to event organizers, the 2021 event will transform from a two-day festival in downtown to a one-day festival in Grider Stadium on Saturday, September 25.

Organizers cancelled the 2020 festival due to COVID-19.

Known for its line up of popular local acts, cover bands, and quirky tribute bands, the festival plans to feature four performers this year, though an official line up is not yet available. Past performers include native Dustin Lynch, American Idol finalist Bo Bice, Big Smo, Will Hoge, the Velcro Pygmies, and a host of local acts like Winchester Stagger Moon and Tullahoma’s Bad Monkey. They will still offer lot of family-friendly fun including food trucks, local arts, and crafts vendors.

There will be no festival-provided kid’s zone this year, but the Frazier-McEwen Park playground is located nearby.

One thing that will remain the same is the mission of the annual southern, middle Tennessee festival: to raise money for area children’s charities. The event organizer, the Highland Rim Kiwanis Club, has raised nearly $100,000 for non-profits like Tullahoma Head Start, Karing for Kids, and others.
