LOCAL NEWS — She now lives in Nashville by way of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Universal Studios in Los Angeles. This week, Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce organizers announced that The Voice Season 2 finalist Adley Stump will be the grand marshal of the 2021 Lynchburg Christmas Parade. The parade will happen on Saturday, December 4 during Christmas in Lynchburg.

Stump’s musical career began when friends and roommates at Oklahoma State University dared her to try out of a singing part in a sorority production. By her senior year, she performed regularly at Garth Brook’s old stomping ground, Willie’s Saloon in Stillwater. Several years later, she found herself on Team Blake as part of the Emmy Award-winning musical competition show. She didn’t win the grand prize but her musical gifts earned her several opening spots on Shelton’s Back Porch Revival Tour along with Chris Young, and Big and Rich. Four years after that, she was named one of the annual Grammy Amplifier contest’s three winners, which gave her access to prizes like studio time, major tour dates and music-video shoots.

Known as a sassy and independent entertainer, Stump now lives in Nashville where she focus on both her music as well as her career as a viral content and social media creator. She launched her own YouTube Channel in December 2010 called The Adley Show that enjoys over 80,000 subscribers. To check it out, click here.
