LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — It’s right around the corner and it’s a great way to expose your small business or art to folks across southern, middle Tennessee. The 2023 Frontier Days Committee is now seeking area vendors for the annual event, which will take place on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 in and around the historic Lynchburg Square.

This year’s committee has been working hard to inject new life into the 60 year old festival. New activities happening this year will include a SCA Steak Cook Off, First Responders Ice Cream Social, Antique Tractor Show, Pedal Tractor Pull, a movie night and ax throwing. These new events will be in addition to the food trucks, carnival rides, games, live music, and fireworks that people have come to love year-after-year.

In particular, the committee encourages local artists, crafters, locally-made, handmade, and small businesses to apply.

“We’ve really been working hard to create an event that offers a little something for everyone,” said Lynchburg Chamber President Marsha Manley Hale. “We think the traditional Frontier Days events combined with the new ideas our committee’s come up with are going to be a hit.”

Fees for a 10 x 10 space will be $50. Multiple spaces can be secured at a discount and limited power (a 20-amp plug) will add an additional $20 fee. 501(c)3 organizations can participate for free. The set up time will be on Friday, June 23 at 4:30 p.m. with the event kicking off at 6 p.m.

Vendors must furnish their own tables, chairs, canopies, tents, and approved extension cords. Canopies and tents must be secured /weighted down to avoid injury and or damage. Food Vendors must show proof of fire extinguisher. Vendors using electricity are required to use approved yellow extension cords that will be inspected by a Chamber representative. Use of generators is discouraged.
