TULLAHOMA, Tenn. — Every mom loves flowers for Mother’s Day and this year, you can buy a gift that will support a fantastic southern, middle Tennessee non-profit. Beginning now through April 28, folks in Moore County can order a hanging basket or flower arrangement from the Hospice of Highland Rim Foundation (HHRF) for just $20.
The Hospice of Highland Rim Foundation helps families in Moore, Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, and Warren counties fill unmet needs when dealing with end of life care for a terminal illness. This includes things that may not be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance.
“Due to the overwhelming need, we are only able to provide about half of the requests that get submitted,” Hospice officials said.
The HHRF teamed up with Wolf River Valley Growers in Pall Mall, Tennessee to offer succulent hanging baskets, annual flowering hanging baskets, Boston fern hanging baskets, and succulent planters. Flowers must be ordered by April 28 and will be available for pick up on May 10-13 at 101 Bragg Circle in Tullahoma. Mother’s Day takes place on Sunday, May 13.
“This year not only are we selling 10-inch hanging baskets with Wave Petunia’s in both purple or pink, Red Geraniums, Mixed Calibrachoa, Boston Fern and an assorted Foliage plants, but we will also offer an 8-inch mixed succulent bowl, as well as 6-inch succulent hanging baskets in either String of Pearls, String of Dolphins or String of Banana’s,” their website states.
