Motlow plans vaccination day

REGIONAL HEALTH NEWS | Fayetteville — In partnership with the Lincoln County Health Department, Motlow State Community College will host a COVID-19 vaccination day at its Fayetteville campus on Friday, April 30 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The Lincoln County Health Department will be on-site to administer the vaccine. Attendees are required to wear a face mask.

Attendees are asked to follow signs to enter the vaccination site. Entrance is from Franke Boulevard off Highway 64. The health department will provide vaccine information and screen attendees before administering the vaccine. After the vaccine, attendees are asked to wait 15 minutes to monitor their response. Water and a snack will be provided. Attendees will be issued a vaccination card that documents inoculation to keep for future use. A second vaccine appointment will be scheduled for 21 days after the first vaccine.

No registration is required and all those 16 years and older can receive a vaccine at no cost. The Sundquist Center on the Motlow State Fayetteville Campus is located at 1802 Winchester Highway in Fayetteville. •
