Motlow State plays Walter State at home on Wednesday

LYNCHBURG, Tenn — The Motlow women’s and men’s basketball teams will venture back into TCCAA conference action when they host rival Walters State on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Copperweld Arena inside Nisbett Center on the Moore County campus.

The women’s contest tips off at 5:30 p.m. with the men to follow at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The Motlow men (3-8, 1-3) are fresh off a three-game appearance in the Thanksgiving Classic at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The Bucks fell to the host school 85-67 on Thanksgiving Day, lost to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College 92-79 on Friday, and dropped a 96-89 decision in overtime to Northeast Mississippi on Saturday.

The Senators are 4-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Motlow’s women (0-7, 0-3) have not played since dropping a 79-55 decision to Jackson State on Nov. 19. The Bucks are scheduled to host the Bryan College JV in a women’s-only contest on Monday, Nov. 28, at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Senators are 6-2 overall and 3-0 in conference games.
