MOORE COUNTY — MCHS Class of 2021 Project Graduation plan two Easter fundraisers that might just make life easier for you that holiday weekend: a BBQ fundraiser and an Easter-themed bake sale.

The parent driven initiative raises money to plan a fun, adult-supervised, alcohol-free post graduation party of Moore County High School seniors each year.

First, seniors parents will volunteer smoke Boston butts ($35) and whole chickens ($10) for pickup on Easter weekend. Boston Butt pickup will be Saturday, April 3 at 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. Chicken pickup times will be Friday, April 2 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, April 3 at 1 p.m. You can order from any senior class member or send the group a message on their Facebook page. Payment to secure your order will be due on Saturday, March 25.

They’ll also host an Easter Bake Sale at Woodard’s Market on Friday, April 2 beginning at 7 a.m. filled with dessert perfect for your Easter meal. •
