The Metro Council meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. If you can’t attend in person, you can follow this post for a live blog of the meeting.
Just a reminder that according to the National Weather Service office in Huntsville, Moore County is under a freeze warning beginning at midnight. Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Also bring your pets indoors.

Prior to kickoff at last night’s playoff game in Lynchburg, both teams lined up their captains. On the Moore County sideline stood four defensive players. The Raider coaching staff knew their defense would be the difference makers. They were. They shut down the Warrior’s star running back to earn a 28-14 victory and advance.
