Raiderette defense shuts down Tigers in first period

Moore County tripled the Tigers first half points. They jumped out early with a trey by Paisley Logan, baskets by Katy Fletcher and Madison Dingler, and three from the line by Maecy Fletcher. The fierce Raiderette defense did not allow a single first period point. At the end of the first eight minutes, Moore County led 11-0.

Unsurprisingly, Coach Spencer began substituting heavily in the second period. Makenzie Goodwin came off the bench and swished a trey in the second period. By halftime, Moore County led 30-11

Ultimately, the 19 point first half lead ended up being too much for the Tigers. Moore County outscored them 9-5 in the third period with Emma Sazonov coming off the bench for a basket. Ellie Graham shot her second trey of the game in the third period.
