Shirley Hall dies at 75

LYNCHBURG — Shirley Jean Rogers Hall , age 75, of Moore County died on Monday, February 21, at Alive Hospice Care in Murfreesboro.

She was born to the late Ruby Harris and Luke Rogers in Elkmont, Alabama and later moved to Moore County with her husband of 49 years, Doug Hall. The two shared a son, Ross Hall. According to her family, she adored her two grandchildren, Brady and Mia. She also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Hall; one son, Ross (Tasha) Hall; one grandson, Brady Hall; one granddaughter, Mia Hall; one brother, Donald Rogers of Shelbyville; one sister, Estelle Hobbs of Ardmore, TN; and several nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

Visitation with the family will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 26 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with funeral services to follow. Inurnment will be held in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.•
