MTSU plans College Night for Sept. 8

LOCAL EDUCATION NEWS | Murfreesboro — If you’re a high school senior, it’s never too early to start thinking about what comes next.

Area high school students, their parents, and families are invited to attend the upcoming Rutherford County College Night — one of the first college recruiting fairs in the Middle Tennessee region this fall. Public, private and homeschool students from Rutherford and surrounding counties including Moore County are welcome to attend the free event.

MTSU hosts the event annually and it features 50 colleges and universities from across the Southeast. It will be on Wednesday, September 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom located at 1768 MTSU Boulevard on the Middle Tennessee State University campus in Murfreesboro. Guests will be able to park in the Student Union Lot starting at 5:30 p.m., with overflow parking in the gravel lot behind Scarlett Commons across from the softball field.
