HUNTSVILLE — It’s the only one of its kind in the Southeast and the U.S. Space and Rocket Center will give you free admission March 8 to celebrate International Day of Planetariums.

The INTUITIVE Planetarium boasts 248 seats and 8k digital planetarium in a dome setting. It uses five Christie laser projectors to deliver synchronized, state of the art projection on a nano seam dome screen with update sound system. Together they give you the experience of being among the stars and planets.

Examples of daily shows includes Destination Solar System, Our Place in Space, Winter Skies, and Explore. And for one day only, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center will offer free admission all day with the purchase of a museum ticket. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is located at 1 Tranquility Base in Huntsville. For more information, check out the Center’s website by clicking here. •
