MOORE COUNTY — The Metro Council will meet is a regular session meeting on Monday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lynchburg Legion Building located off Highway 129. There will be a Metro Budget Committee Meeting at 5:45 p.m. and a Rezoning Public Hearing at 6:25 p.m.
In new business, Moore County will seek permission from the Metro Council to apply for a dog park grant through the Boyd Foundation.
In old business, the Council will hear the second reading of a rezoning request involving .76 acres of land in the Hasty Hollow community belonging to Hobbs family. They are requesting that it be rezoned from A-1 agricultural to residential. The Metro Planning Commission reviewed and recommended the change. The Council will also hear the second reading of revisions to the Metro Employee Manual.
