Rural journalism isn’t dead and small towns need it now more than ever. Rural communities are where neighbors help neighbors, people know your name, and every decision made by local government and corporations truly trickles down to its citizens. Lynchburg just happens to be the most famous small town in America. It deserves a hometown newspaper dedicated to hyper local coverage.
Former Moore County New Editor & Publisher Tabitha Moore, launched The Lynchburg Times in August 2019. She’s a native of Moore County and studied English Literature at Tulane University and enjoys over 25 years of publishing and marketing experience. The Lynchburg Times is the only independent news organization in Moore County and also the only woman-owned newspaper in southern, middle Tennessee.
