TULLAHOMA — Tullahoma Art Center’s (TAC) going through a rejuvenation of sorts. They’ve added new exhibition halls, more national exhibits, new membership benefits, a music lab, and an expanded gift shop. They’ve also added new classes including a Stained Glass Class taught by local artist Tammy O’Connor.

O’Connor studied at the Art Institute of Atlanta and has been working with glass since 1985. Her portfolio includes both large and small commissioned works that now hang in homes, churches, and businesses across the U.S. and Canada. Past shows include a solo exhibit at the Nashville International Airport and Tennessee Craft. Her current work can be seen in an Exploration in Color: Tennessee Women in Glass at the Customs House Museum in Clarksville. New two part classes will begin every first and third Monday in February from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will learn to cut glass, prepare a pattern, foil, and solder. O’Connor will offer both step-by-step individual instruction and the use of her tools. Student will leave with a completed work.
