TULLAHOMA — Dust off those kilts and practice your Celtic knots because Piping on the Green a celebration of all things from Brittany, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and the Isle of Man – the six Celtic nations – will be coming to North Anderson Street in Tullahoma on Saturday, April 4.

The eighth annual event will be a partnership between the Celtic Cup and the Highland Rim Scottish Society. It will feature all things Celtic including bag pipers, Highland and Irish dancers, Celtic food and beverages. They’ll present demonstrations on Highland dancing, weaving, and spinning as well as workshops about Genealogy, the Bodhran (the Celtic drum), and tying Celtic knots.

The event will also feature live music from Pay the Reckoning, Black Market Haggis, Scotland Rising, and The Secret Commonwealth.

Piping on the Green takes place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the grounds of the Celtic Cup located at 106 North Anderson Street. Free parking will be available at 301 East Grundy Street with a free shuttle service. It’s a family friendly event and be sure to bring your own lawn chairs.
