Moore County native dies in one car crash

LOCAL NEWS — According to law enforcement, Kyleigh Camp of Lynchburg, age 23, died early Sunday morning in a one car, one occupant accident along Cobb Hollow Road near the intersection of Flippo and Raysville roads.

Kyleigh graduated from MCHS in 2015 and worked at Jack Daniel’s Distillery.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, Camp was traveling west on Cobb Hollow Road in a 2014 Nissan Maxima when she crossed the center line, drove off the left side of the road, and struck two trees before coming to a rest.

Local law enforcement officials estimate the accident happened somewhere between midnight and 2 a.m. A local reported the accident around 5:45 a.m. Sunday morning. First responders from Metro Moore as well as Tennessee Highway Patrol were on scene. The THP report stated that Camp was not wearing her seat belt. As per standard procedure in a fatality crash, Camp’s body will by autopsied.
