LOCAL NEWS | Education — The Moore County High School chapter of Future Health Professional or Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) plans a community clothing drive for the winter. They’re asking locals to clean out their closets and donate any gently-used fall and winter items for a Community Clothes Give Away to take place on November 16.

The group is accepting only fall and winter clothes with no stains or missing buttons. Clothes should be neatly laid flat or on hangers, if possible. They can’t accept socks or under garment unless they a brand new and still in packaging or with tags.

Clothes can be dropped off at five different times in Office #5 at the Moore County Building: Tuesday, October 29 from 5-7 p.m., Monday, November 4 from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 14 from 6-8 p.m.
