Peach Festival returns on July 18

BELVIDERE, Tenn. — After drawing nearly 1,000 visitors last year, the Neal Creek Retreat Peach Festival is back for 2026. Held on the family-owned farm at 322 Neal Road, the event promises to be a summertime celebration of fresh fruit, homemade goodies, and hometown hospitality.

This year’s festival, set for Saturday, July 18, will kick off at 10 a.m. with live music from Final Crossing Gospel Bluegrass and the Band of Pearls String and Woodwind Ensemble. The event runs until 4 p.m., giving attendees plenty of time to browse, taste, and enjoy all things peach.

The highlight, of course, is the peaches. Grown on the farm’s 44 peach trees, about 1,200 pounds of ripe yellow Elberta and white Belle of Georgia peaches will be available for sale by the pound or case. Homemade peach ice cream will also be on hand for those who prefer to taste the season right away. They’ll also sell seasoned peach wood for smoking meats.

Judy West, a Native American Indian Army veteran will also be on hand with authentic native American jewelry, blankets and other handmade items from the Pine Ridge Lakota Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Proceed from Saturday’s sales will benefit a memorial horse ride for a Native American man on the reservation who recently died.

Local flavor runs deep at the festival with vendors offering everything from barbecue and kettle corn to custom dog merchandise and handmade jewelry. Sweet treats like cakes, pies, candy, jams, and jellies will round out the experience. A portrait artist and chiropractor will also be onsite, offering unique ways to unwind and remember the day.

A partial list of expected vendors include HillbillyQ BBQ, Travelin Tom’s Coffee, Tennessee Gravy Boat breakfast foods, Kirby’s Confections & More peach-themed treats and hot sauces, crafts, variety ice cream, The Dirty Lemon, Garden of Adrienne custom flowers, Sister Hazel and Sister Jo’s Baked Goods and Crafts, Kinnley Bree’s Fresh Squeeze lemonades and teas, Stoltzfus Soft Pretzels, Blue Raider Contracting, Renewal by Anderson windows, Voices for a Safer TN Coalition, and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Kids can enjoy the petting zoo — making it a family-friendly affair.

Neal Creek Retreat is listed on the Pick TN Products website and proudly carries the Homegrown by Heroes label, as it’s co-owned by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page, call 931-588-0136, or email connect@nealcreekretreat.com. •
