The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) recently launched new online resources to help military veterans and service members transition into agriculture and grow successful farm businesses.

The new Military Veteran Farmers webpage serves as a central hub for information, offering step-by-step guidance on how to start or expand an agricultural operation, access grants and funding, and connect with support networks across Tennessee.

In addition to business development information, the page includes permitting guidance, business planning tools, and direct links to partner organizations that assist veterans pursuing agricultural careers.

“These resources are designed to make it easier for veterans to build meaningful careers in agriculture,” Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt said. “We’re proud to support those who have served our country and state by helping them find success in Tennessee’s diverse agricultural industry.”
