It’s been a long, cold, dreary winter with most of us staying cooped up inside our homes. So as Valentines Day approaches, most of us are itching for an activity that gives an excuse to go out and do something. 1| Decorate Cookies with Your Girlfriends — Grab a girlfriend on Saturday, February 5 and head to a Galentine’s Night Out at Promise Manor hosted by Same Kay Cookies. There will be a cookie class, wine and food pairings, DIY sugar scrub station, candle making station, shopping, as well as yummy appetizers and desserts. 2| Attend a Scout Cookie, Wine Pairings Tasting – Fellas if you are looking for a event sure to impress her look no further that the Scout Cookies & Wine Tasting held at Beans Creek Winery on Saturday, February 12. You’ll get to pair six of your favorite locally-made wines with those delicious cookies that show up every February from “scouts who are girls.” The event costs $20 per person and seating is limited. 3| Drinks, Dinner, and Dancing in Mulberry — You can enjoy a Valentine’s Day Dinner with Filet Mignon and all the trimmings followed by a concert from the very popular band, Entice in Mulberry? Well, yes you can. Our areas newest historic venue, The Manor at ShaeJo, plans a Valentines Day dinner and drinks followed by the infectious jams of Entice on Saturday, February 12 from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are limited and can be purchased for $75 each by calling Christi at 520-282-0437.
