LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — As we gear up for budget season here in Moore County, the Metro Council will meet on Monday in what will likely be the shortest meeting until the 2022-23 budget passes.

In new business, the Council will consider the first reading of a rezoning request for 65 Farm Bureau Street in Lynchburg. The property is currently owned by Sullenger Property, LLC. It’s the location of the former Jack’d Nutrition and the owners would like to have it rezoned from C-1 commercial to R-1 residential in order to turn it into rental property.

In other new business, they will also consider declaring a 2001 F450 ambulance as surplus. The ambulance went out of service this year. They will also consider a resolution for Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) to study pension plans for Metro Moore County employees.

The Metro Trustee will also report on activity through March 2022.
