LOCAL NEWS — Is your child five years old or will they be five years old by August 15? Then mark your calendars for April 6-9. That’s when Moore County kindergarten pre-registration for the 2020-21 school year will take place.

Registration will happen at Lynchburg Elementary School from 8:30 to 11 a.m. each day in the school nurses office. Parents must provide a valid drivers license for proof of Moore County residency. To register your child, you’ll also need their birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of a recent physical exam, and their immunization records.
