LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (November 7, 2024) – They’re the flower world’s symbol of the holidays and in 2024 you can buy them locally and support the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce at the same time.
Grown in Tennessee by South Central Growers in Springfield, the traditional Christmas floral display flowers will be available in red, pink or white in four different sizes. Four inch pots will be available in red only and cost $5 each. They’ll also offer 6.5 inch pots in red, pink, and white for $10 each. Finally, the fund-raising sale will offer eight inch and 10 inch pots for $16 and $25 each respectively. All pots will be wrapped in gold foil in a protective sleeve prior to delivery.
Proceeds will benefit the local chamber of commerce, and is one of several yearly fundraisers for the local organization that sponsors Frontier Days, Spring in the Hollow, Halloween in the Hollow, Christmas in Lynchburg, and other events.
“As a community, we buy spring ferns from the football team and fall mums from the baseball team. Now locals can buy holiday florals from the Chamber, and help us make sure that 2025 events have the budgets they need,” said Lynchburg Chamber President Marsha Hale.
