LOCAL NEWS — Organizers today released the official application for the first annual Lynchburg Queen Bee Senior Pageant to be held on April 4. Applications are due no later that March 20.
All contestant must be Moore County residents. Contestants who live in an assisted living facility outside Moore County may participate as long as their last known address was inside Moore County.
Contestants may wear whatever makes them feel fabulous … from a pants suit to evening gown. Pull out those mother-of-the-bride dresses ladies and shop those thrift stores.
There will be four categories: 1) ages 60-69, 2) ages 70-79, 3) ages 80 and over; and 4) nursing home contestants. Nursing home contestants will have their own separate event held at the Lynchburg Nursing Center on a date to be announced.
