LOCAL NEWS |Education — The Metro Moore County School Board will meet on Monday, November 11 at 6 p.m. in the Central Office located behind Lynchburg Elementary School.
Members of the public will appear before the board to address three items: the BITZ program, the senior trip, and the baseball bull pen/fence.
Director of School Chad Moorehead will present the results of the 2020-21 school calendar survey. He will also present mower and bus bids to the Board for approval. The Board will hear a field trip request from the Raiderette Basketball Team for a tournament happening December 19-20 in Lebannon.
The Director’s Report will include a construction progress report, a discussion of the Lynchburg Music Festival invoice, a maternity leave request, an update on the ACT data release, and a school board strategic plan update.
