LYNCHBURGTenn. – The Moore County Middle School Raiderettes kept their perfect season intact as they doubled up Highland Rim 32-16 Thursday evening.

The Raiderettes actually trailed by a point after one but fiery performances in the second and third periods were the key to victory – that and 18 points dropped by Addison Brandon who had a hot hand from start to finish.

Brandon had five of her team’s seven points in the first with Sadie Ivey getting the other bucket. The Raiderettes raced to a slender lead by the half as Brandon hit a pair of hoops while Haven Hornaday splashed a triple during the second. Ivey hit a shot from the field as the Raiderettes led 16-12 at the break.
