LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — The Raiderettes made it two in a row as they won their home opener – beating Cascade 56-43 on Tuesday night.

Emma Dye led her team in scoring, bucketing 15 with her good night beginning in the first when she led her team with three points. Bella Tucker, Ellie Carter and Lily Hoagland all had two in the first as the Raiderettes led 11-7 after one.

Ellie Carter kicked off the offense in the second as she scored from all modes including a three, a shot from the field and a pair of free throws on her way to an 11-point night. Meanwhile Sharpe buried a three and a pair of free throws to bolster the Raiderette 18-point second quarter. Emma Dye had a hoop and harm while Kelly hit both ends of a free throw opportunity. Tucker was one-for-two at the stripe as Moore County held 29-18 lead after the half. Keeping Cascade in the game was Kaegan Young who led all scorers with 20 on the night.
