FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. – The Moore County Raiders were unable to claim back-to-back wins this past week as they fell to Lincoln County 78-53.
Anderson Sharpe had a solid game, leading his squad with a baker’s dozen which included three long range bombs from beyond the arc. He got busy early as he drained his first three and added a two in the opening quarter. Tristyn Gray and Cooper Dickey added two apiece but that was not enough to stem the early barrage from the Falcons which led 26-9 after one.
Gray, who had nine on the night, and Knox Hall were the main contributors in the second as they both sank a pair of field goals while Dickey, who had nine points on the evening, added a deuce. Deacon Liles canned a two and a free throw as the Raiders held their own but trailed 39-22 at the break.

Sharpe returned to form in the third, raining down a three and adding a deuce while Dickey mirrored Sharpe’s scoring philosophy with a triple and a two. Colton Morey got on the board with a three on his way to an eight-point showing on the night while Avery Rogers sank his only three of the evening. However, the 16-point quarter was not enough to close the gap as the Falcons had 22 in the third with the main offender being Elijah Parks who led all scorers with 29 on the night.
The fourth saw Colton Morey step up, hitting a deuce and a three while Rylan Stovall had all four of his points in the fourth frame. Meanwhile, Sharpe finished his night off with a three while Gray had a hoop and harm to round out the scoring.
Anderson Sharpe led for Moore County with 13 points followed by Cooper Dickey and Tristyn Gray with nine points each and Colton Morey with eight points. Other contributing Raiders were Knox Hall and Rylan Stovall with four points each and Avery Rogers and Deacon Liles with three points each.
The Raiders will play at Culleoka tonight (December 16) and at Summertown before taking a break for the holidays. They will kick things back off on Saturday, December 27 at Cascade. •
