On Monday, the Metro Council passed the second reading of a Brown-Forman rezoning request to make way for a new hotel on land the distillery owns just off Motlow Barns Road.
Two zoning-related items on the Metro Council's December agenda could pave the way for more overnight stays in Lynchburg. With five members absent, they delayed taking action on those items until January.
