The United Way of South Central Tennessee (UWSCTN) recently announced that grant applications for the 2025-26 year are now open.
Proposals for a one-year grant are currently being accepted and are due on March 20 at 11:59 p.m. All current grant commitments from United Way of South Central Tennessee will conclude on June 30 of the current year. Any agency interested in funding July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 must submit a new application.
In 2025, all requests must align within one of the four identified funding priorities – education, income, health, or basic essentials. Non-profits must also be a 501(c)(3) or have IRS equivalent nonprofit status, have one full year of operation before applying for funding, and must serve one or more of the counties within UWSCTN service area.
“We are thrilled to announce our grant process is open to apply if your organization serves Moore, Bedford, Coffee, Lincoln, and Warren counties,” said Ashley Abraham, Regional Director of UWSCTN shares. “We want to thank our donors and those businesses that entrust their donations to United Way to allocate back into the community where most needed and into important programs/services that impact our neighbors daily.”
Award notifications will be sent out in June. The grant application and all resources are available at yourlocaluw.org/grants. •
