Get #WeAreMC updates on your phone

LOCAL NEWS — Friday night’s varsity high school football game’s been rescheduled. It’s just one of the instant, up-to-minute updates students, parents, employees, and community members can receive on their mobile phones when they sign up for #WeAreMC updates.

As every parent know, students are notoriously bad at getting information from school officials back to parents. As winter approaches, don’t you instantly want to know when and if Director of Schools Chad Moorehead closes for a snow day?

Sign up is easy. On a smartphone, go to your web browser and type in: rmd.at/mooreco. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be prompted to download the Remind app. If you don’t have a smartphone, you can still get text notifications. Message @mooreco to the number 81010 or 931-841-9203. You can sign up for email notifications on a desktop computer as well.

For questions or comments, call the Moore County Schools Central Office at 931-759-7303. •
