Motlow offers help with FAFSA

LOCAL NEWS — Ask any prospective college student or prospective college student parent and they’ll tell you one of the toughest parts of getting into their preferred college is the dreaded Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Well, Motlow State is here to help. They’ll offer a FAFSA Frenzy workshop on Tuesday, November 5 from 4-7 p.m. on the Moore County Campus.

All colleges and universities require FAFSA forms to determine a student’s eligibility to receive financial aid, including Tennessee Promise and Reconnect Scholarships. Even if you’ve submitted on previously, they’ll need new information for the upcoming year. Mtlow State will offer one-on-one assistance.

They also schedule events for the Smyrna Campus )Oct. 26), Fayetteville Campus (Nov. 5), and McMinnville Campus (Nov. 5). For more information, visit the college’s website. •
