LYNCHBURG — As of Monday, Motlow’s State’s Women’s Soccer Team moved up two spots in the NJCAA poll to number 15 and on Saturday, they’ll play their home opener on the Moore County campus.

Since the team’s inception in 2017, the team has been named conference champions four times under the leadership of Coach Andy Lyon. In addition to balancing athletics and academics, the team gives back to charity, hosts soccer camps for children, and travels to Belize to promote women’s soccer and donate items to schoolchildren.

Home games for the rest of the 2024-2025 season include:

• September 14: Harford Community College at 12 pm
• September 15: Indian Hills Community College at 11 am
• September 22: Columbia State Community College at 3 pm
• September 25: Central Georgia Technical College at 3pm
• September 29: Southwest Tennessee Community College at 3 pm
• October 3: Pellissippi State at 6 pm
• October 16: Wabash Valley College at 1 pm
• October 18: Roane State Community College at 3 pm

The 2024-2025 roster includes: Alina Arneth, Ariana Baxter, Camden Prosser, Reagan Miller, Carolina Rose, Haley Campbell, Lola Cunningham, Elva Nunes, Teresa Kahlmann, Adrianna Escamilla, Erin Worthington, Bella Bravo, Emalee Aguero, Ayan Ahmed, Mia von Kalben, Tate Edgemon, Emma Whitefield, Brenna Carroll, Aura Zeledon, and Libby Vincent.
