LOCAL NEWS — The Moore County Board of Education plans to meet in a regular session meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the Central Office located behind Lynchburg Elementary School. Board members will meet for a work session following the public meeting.
In new business, the board will discuss budget amendments for 2019-20, the annual MCHS senior trip, and a teacher resignation. Director Chad Moorehead will also report on ongoing construction at MCHS, the power surges at LES, the 20-21 budget priorities, and recent water testing results at all Moore County schools. He will also review the school systems tenure policy with the Board.
