MOORE COUNTY — According to official notification sent to The Times on Friday, August 1 the Tennessee Highway Patrol plans a sobriety checkpoint for Moore County on Friday, August 15 beginning at 8 p.m. The checkpoints will take place on Highway 55 at the two mile marker in Moore County between Moore County and Tullahoma near Motlow College Highway 82 intersection.
Troopers will evaluate drivers for expired driver’s license, signs of alcohol or drug impairment, and seat belt violations. The checkpoints will be conducted by THP as well as the Moore County Sheriff’s Department, according to local officials. •
