LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — They gather once a year at one of the most picturesque spots in Lynchburg to celebrate with a little local product and raise crucial funds that help nonprofits in Moore, Coffee, and Warren counties continue to offer services to those who need them most. The United Way of Highway 55 recently announced that this year’s United in Spirit fundraiser on Barbecue Hill on The Jack Daniel’s Distillery campus will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 5-9 p.m.
The evening will feature a gourmet dinner by Strawberry Moon Catering Company, live music by Arianna & The Bourbon Britches, a silent auction, and a special program highlighting United Way’s impact on local communities. Each ticket includes three drinks, dinner, and a commemorative wooden event coaster.
Proceeds will benefit local nonprofits and programs that support communities across South Central Tennessee. All guests will check in at the Tennessee Whiskey Trailhead locates at 133 Lynchburg Highway in Lynchburg with buses departing from the parking lot at 4:45 p.m. to transport attendees to BBQ Hill for the main event.
“This event would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community members,” says Ashley Abraham, executive director. “Our goal is to raise more to give more to our local community, and every contribution helps create lasting change in the areas of education, financial stability, and health. Thank you for making this possible.”
