The Metro Moore County Volunteer Fire Department recently received a $19,600 state equipment grant. According to Chief Neal, it will be used to replace 10 year old turnout equipment.

Fire Department 9/11 Memorial 5K registration sells out
The Lynchburg 9/11 Memorial 5K closed registration today when they sold all 200 spots. The race and a Remembrance Parade will take place in Lynchburg on Saturday, September 11.
