STATE NEWS | Outdoors — From geese to ducks, waterfowl hunting is big business in Tennessee. According to the state, area hunters harvested over 199,600 ducks and 22,500 geese last year. The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) currently seeks public comment for its 2020-21 waterfowl and other migratory bird hunting regulations. The comment period opened on October 21 and will end on December 2. TWRA staff will compiled public comments and present them at the January meeting.
