After losing to Fayetteville in the first round on May 7, the MCHS Raiderettes have battled their way back to the District 8A semifinal game. They play Eagleville this afternoon at 5 p.m. in Bedford County. If they win, they'll face off with Huntland in the championship game.

Raiders earn runner up in District 8A tournament
This year's post season play has been a bit of a Groundhog's Day for the Moore County Raiders. Not only did they face off with Eagleville twice in the regular season but also in three separate games in the District 8A Tournament. And they will head to Eagleville next Tuesday for a Region 5A championship game.
